I first started using Sandalwood oil for skin care. My skin is very prone to rashes and extremely sensitive. I am delighted with the results of using Sandalwood essential oil.
As I explored other uses for Sandalwood oil, I discovered there are so many! Here you go.
1 – As I mentioned, one key Sandalwood oil benefit is to help promote healthy looking skin. It can also help reduce skin imperfections. I’ve made it part of my skincare routine in the morning and evening.
I mix 2 drops of Sandalwood with a little bit of Jojoba Oil (carrier oil). I massage into my facial skin and it feels amazing. My skin is looking so much better! You can also mix this oil into other homemade skin products like body butter or shaving cream.
2 – With a grounding, balancing aroma, Sandalwood essential oil can help balance emotions. This has been especially helpful to me as I go through some stressful circumstances in my life. To help lessen tension, just use one or two drop in the palm of your hands. Cup your hands around your nose and inhale.
3 – Need extra hair shine? Use Sandalwood essential oil on your hair. Just apply one or two drops to hair while still wet. Sandalwood helps restore moisture to your hair. You can also add it to your shampoo or conditioner before using on your hair.
4 – Do you love meditation? It’s such a fantastic body-mind connection. With its mood-enhancing properties, Sandalwood oil is wonderful to diffuse during meditation. You can also just use it after a stressful day or diffuse near your bed for sleeping.
