When I heard about organic Rosehip oil benefits, I just had to try it for myself. My facial skin is so sensitive and I can get a rash in an instant if I used the wrong products.
Keeping my skin moisturized and attempting to prevent the results of aging is a challenge!
After researching the best organic rosehip oil for my face, I got some and started using it.
Today I am sharing my review of Zongle USDA Certified Organic Rosehip Oil.
What is Rosehip Oil?
Rosehip oil is also called Rosehip seed oil. It’s a carrier oil that is from the Rosa aff. rubiginosa or Rosa moschata seeds. This is fruit that’s left after the rose’s petals have dropped.
The oil does not have a rosey smell. Instead, it’s a warm, earthy aroma.
The organic rosehip oil I used is cold pressed and dark orange in color. It’s a thick oil so it’s doesn’t come rushing out of the bottle.
What is the Shelf Life of Rosehip Oil?
After you open the bottle, rosehip oil will last up to 6 months. The bottle should be amber or other color to shield the oil from light.
Buying a small bottle is your best option. You’ll use just a few drops per application and it goes a long way. If you were to purchase a large bottle, it might go bad before you have a chance to use it all.
Zongle Organic Rosehip Oil Review
I knew I wanted organic rosehip oil and I found Zongle. Their oil is certified organic and cold pressed.
It comes in a cobalt glass bottle which is great to protect the oil from light. It does not include a dropper. Instead, it has an orifice reducer and cap, similar to what you get with essential oils.
It came packaged very well. The bottle itself was wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a small plastic bag with a top closure.
The outer mail envelope was a bubble type so it was well protected.
I started using the rosehip oil combined with some of my favorite essential oils. It absorbs fast on skin so there was no greasy oil that gets all over everything.
The bottle was easy to use. Just hold it upside down and let a few drops drip into my hand. I then added a couple of drop of essential oils.
I rub my hands together and then massage the oil into my facial skin. It felt so nice! Plus, no weird skin rash reaction.
The Zongle organic rosehip oil is 1 ounce. Since you don’t need a lot, it will last quite a while. As I mentioned, it has a short shelf life so I recommend using the bottle before buying more.
So far, I love the rosehip oil! It is much lighter than some other carrier oils like almond oil. It reminds me of fractionated coconut oil but the color is different. Unfortunately I can’t use the coconut oil. Believe it or not I get a rash reaction from that!
I will stick with the Zongle organic oil until it runs out. I’ll update this post at that time.
What are the Benefits of Rosehip Oil?
The benefits of rosehip oil is what convinced me to start using it. I stay away from overpriced lotions and creams. The list of ingredients just blows me away.
I prefer to stick with simple, natural ingredients that actually are good for my skin.
1 – Antiaging
Rosehip oil is high in antioxidants which is beneficial for anti-aging. It contains vitamin A and vitamin C, both of which have the ability to stimulate the production of collagen. Vitamin C helps to brighten the skin. Vitamin A can go deeper into skin which helps to improve moisture. My skin is so dry and the organic rosehip oil is really helping with that.
particular, stimulate collagen production. Because vitamin A has small molecules, it allows deeper penetration into the skin and improves the skin’s moisture levels — thus reducing wrinkles and fine lines.
2 – Scar Treatment
Rose hip seed oil contains essential fatty acids. These can help reduce scarring Essential fatty acids help to improve skin flexibility and permeability.
3 – Helps with Eczema
The essential fatty acids also help to reduce the effects of eczema. I have eczema and it can be very painful and unsightly. Rosehip oils can help promote skin regeneration to decrease the effects of eczema.
4 – Photo-aging Protection
You know those age spots that appear on your skin? Rosehip oil can help with that sun damage from UV rays.
If only I listened to my mother when she warned me to stay out of the sun. Rose hip oil has many properties that help combat that damage.
The UV rays of the sun damage skin and cause photo aging. The results on the face
Conclusion

Always buy high quality rosehip oil. Look for organic, cold pressed, unrefined oil in a dark glass bottle.
Zongle has all the qualities I was looking for in a Rosehip oil and I highly recommend it.
